2 states is an Indian Romantic Drama starring Arjun Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in lead roles. Apart from these two actors we would also get to see Amrita Singh and Revathy in side roles. The movie 2 states is an adaptation of Chetan Bhagat's two states. The movie is all about a boy and a girl who study in the same management institute. The girl is the prettiest in the college and has many admirers who fall for her. But this guy named Krish is able to gain her attention which marks the beginning of a masaledaar story.

2 states focuses on the issues faced by inter-caste marriages. The boy hails from north India while the girl from South and their families are not ready to accept the counterparts traditions.

Ronit Roy will also be seen in 2 states. He would be playing the role of Krish's father in 2 states. 2 states is all set to release and the trailer is likely to be released on February 28, 2014.
